PWA Volunteer Opportunities

The Professional Women's Association of Budapest is currently looking for volunteers to contribute their time and ideas to our organization. Commitment hours range between 2-8 hours per week. Commitment is key and the benefits are plenty! Please see detailed descriptions of each below.

Presidency: The President serves on the Steering Committee for 2012. The ten-member Steering Committee carries out all the organization's planning and programming, hence regular monthly activities and events by PWA are on hold until the above positions are filled.

Program Officer: Contacts local business leaders, companies, vendors, and supporters of PWA to create and implement programs and activities. Must be fluent in written and spoken Hungarian in order to issue invoices and correspond with local community. English fluency is highly preferred.

Hospitality Officer: Greets and assists members, non-members, speakers, and other participants at events hosted by PWA. Must be available to attend events.

Coordinators: Two or more hours per week would be ideal and we are flexible. Help organize events, write/editing content, and light administrative work as they arise.
